It's funny because he's french

I have to admit: the dude's plan is pretty freakin' awesome. The idea was to parachute from the edge of space - free-falling for 15 minutes and reaching a top speed of about 1,000 mph (!!) before opening his chute at an altitude of 6,000 feet.

He spent 20 years and $20 million dollars to reach his goal. In the process, he would have broken records for the highest altitude free-fall, highest altitude human balloon flight, for the longest free-fall and the speed record for the fastest free-fall.

Too bad the ballon he was going to jump from lifted off without him. Take that, frenchie!

Reminds me of another dude that put way to much energy, time and money into something that was patently ridiculous. I guess if BulletBall ever becomes an Olympic sport, he'll have the last laugh.
